The baby is born and now it is time for the court to decide who gets to keep the baby. They decide that the other guy gets too and Manna Wu breaks down crying. She has to go through all that crap for nothing. (The 9 months and the labor.) Hopefully Manna Wu will later be able to convince SOMEONE that she should have the baby. The man ends up being a terrible father.
They finally figured out the ownership problem, but there's one more problem. Manna Wu is pregnant. With her ex-husband's baby! This will cause alot of problems with who gets to take care of the new baby. I personally think Manna Wu should get him because she's the one who is giving birth to him and has to go through the 9 months and the labor. Plus, she's much more responsible and she seems like a better mom than her ex-husband would ever be. I mean dad.
This book is so confusing, but it's actually becoming really intense. So Manna Wu and her husband finally get divorced. But another problem is upon them. They can't decide who gets all the valuables... such as the house, and all the money they have. Their lawyers aren't helping much either. But then, they go to court, and the judges decide for them. I think they just deserve what they bought for themselves.. and all the stuff they received that was passed down from their parents and grandparents.
So my books pretty intresting...
Manna Wu keeps cheating on her husband while hes away the whole year.... but i can't figure out who. But then when her husband comes back in the summers to divorce her she acts all normal. So i guess she's kind of contributing to the marriage problems too, because their both cheating on each other. I think they should just finally get divorced. That would be much easier than everything their going through right now.
This book is kinda dumb.

So I think im starting to understand my book now. It's about a man named Lin and he has a wife. But he has to go into the army. Then, he moves somewhere else and gets a new girlfriend. Every summer, Lin comes back to his home to divorce his wife. She agrees each time, until the very last minute.
Personally, I think this wife of his has some issues. She needs to make up her mind. She should either LOVE him, or not. I'm sick of reading about his trips each summer divorcing his wife. Lin also kind of has some issues. He shouldn't even have a girlfriend in the first place. He's married. So im guessing this book is just gonna talk about marriage problems the whole time.... hm

oooooook. So my book is kinda weird and it makes no sense.. but heres what i understand so far:
Some creeper hits on this girl named Manna Wu. They "fall in love" and they want to see each other again. So, they meet at a park later and he tries to kiss her, but she gets angry. Then they decide they should get married.
I think that this guy Manna Wu marries will probably leave her and take her money. Or maybe he's using her. Either way, this marriage doesn't seem right.

mah book
Ok so i finally have a book. It's called Waiting. It's written by a chinease guy named Ha Jin. This guy grew up in a small town in China. As a youth, he volenteered in the People's Liberation Army. He basically became his own teacher and taught himself high school courses. He really wanted to go to college but he couldn't because colleges were closed at the time because of the Cultural Revolution. Once colleges re-opened, he started going to Heilongjiang University in Harbin. He studied english and american literature. He then wanted to become a writer, but knew it was impossible in china, so he imigrated to the US. http://www.bookreporter.com/authors/au-jin-ha.asp
